This summer has been a lot of fun and we had some fun birthdays. first we had Jordans bday party in august it was a big success, it was a carnival party and we had a lot of family and friends there. she had a blast. the coolest part was the face painting. Rob did Jordans face and she loved it. than in September we had Jemmas bday party. we had a very full house with all our family in town there were nine cousins and aunts and uncles from both sides with both grandparents. these girls are so lucky to live close to family.

So when we were in Hawaii the last night rob and I were doing some shopping for the girls and we got them some cute little necklaces, the women who sold them to us had 11 fingers, she had an extra little thumb. when we got home to Washington we told Jordan about this and without even thinking she asked me if the women likes to play Where s Thumkin. it was amazing and so funny. little kids are great and the best thing is that they don't even try to be sometimes. I wish I was smart enough to think of that.

BEFORE

Rob is so amazing, here is our new house, when we first moved in. and here is it after Rob got to work on it. he put in all new windows framed them and painted them, built it all from scratch we put up new light fixtures painted the trim on the house and rob built shutters and painted them, it looks so nice and he worked so hard on them. he is really proud of his hard work and so am I. and it means more knowing that he made them all by hand, plus it saved money!

Here Rob is painting the trim work on out house to match all the new windows he just put in. the girls playing at the fountain. this was at the farmers market here in Richland, I think it was their favorite part. I gave them pennies to throw in the fountain and told them to make a wish they thought it was awesome. the last picture is of the girls watching a movie at grandma and grandpa meyers Jordan couldnt take her eyes of the TV and Jemma couldnt keep them open.

Jordan was having the greatest time playing in the backyard and she kept wanting me to help her hang on to the pole, she was so happy and would jump down and laugh, and ask me to do it over and over again. Finally we got smart and moved over a chair and now she can do it all by herself. This bottom picture was of both girls sitting and playing together in the backyard.

This weekend was great, we got so much done around the house, Rob and he dad worked hard and replaced 2 windows and framed 4. it is looking so much better, also we planed bushes in the front of the house and azaleas close to the house. it is so much fun, a lot of work but fun. I was working too even though not as much as rob. he is also in the process of making shutters for all the windows, im so excited.

we went to go watch daddy play soccer, it was a little colder than we expected. luckily I brougt some warm clothes, or else we would have gone home quickly. they won though so it was fun. rob is the goalee and he is so good it is good to go and watch.

Today it was really windy and way too cold to take the girls out I did my at home work out but it wasn't the same so when rob got home we all had dinner than I left him with the girls and went out for a bike ride, it is so nice to have his support, and great to stay on track and it is one thing to ride a bike but another to ride it against the wind it felt so good, but it was hard. I need to remember how I feel after I work out for the days that I don't feel like it. I'm sure many of you don't care about me trying to workout but I think if I talk about it, it helps me do it.

We did this the second month we were living here and so excited we did it. it started out with us redoing the downstairs, with painting and putting up baseboards and crown molding. as we were redoing everything we kept thinking hey maybe we really should change out the tile in the fireplace, so we were so glad we did and of course we took care of the mantle also. Rob is so talented and he has really made me happy with all the changes we have already made, there is a lot more to do but it will all be so worth it I cant wait.

this was an exciting day. so lately we have been having a problem with Jordan throwing fits again so a few weeks ago we started doing a jar that when she was good and did nice things she would be rewarded by putting a penny in her jar. when it was full she would get to go buy a gift just for herself. so it happened and we went to the dollar store, she was so happy with being able to choose all for herself. she was ready and she told me what she really wanted was a giraffe. I wasn't sure why she wanted a giraffe so bad but she told me she didn't have one, so we walked all around the store and the only giraffe we could was a ceramic one but she said she wanted something she could play with so we didn't get the giraffe. she had about 5 things picked out but the winner was this bucket and shovel. that day we went right home and she played in the backyard and was loving her new present. some people might say rewarding a child for doing something they should do anyways is not a good idea and I have ream many books on the subject and they all say something different but we thought we would try it for Jordan and it seemed to work she hasn't had a bad day for probably 3 weeks now and to me that seems worth it. now I just need to get some things figured out for Jemma. she is starting to learn she can throw fits too and its not fun.

Getting ready to go out and exercise today. the weather was bitter but once I finally convinced myself to get out it wasn't too bad. the girls were plenty warm and actually once I started jogging the cold weather was nice and helped me cool down. they love our walk and jemma was even falling asleep by the end.

I need to get back on track with my blog, I want to kind of make it my little journal with entries from the day of what the girls are up to. today was great this morning at breakfast Jordan looks up and says to me. "Not all monkeys have names" well yes this is true and we just kept eating than a few minutes later she said some monkeys have names like Curious George. so funny and she hasn't seen that movie in so long, but it finally made sense what she was thinking, so cute Time for me to get back into shape lets see how I do no bread or dessert until May 15th and I have to ride my bike or jog everyday for 30 minutes, so far so good this morning I went for a jog with the girls in the jogging stroller and we ran for 1.5 miles a good start. okay ran half and walked half but I take it, even by the end Jasper was panting. when we got home the girls we walking inside and Jordan says wow my legs hurt. if your wondering why May 15th well that is the day Rob and I are going to Hawaii. my brother is getting married so we get to go on a nice vacation and the girls get to spend the week with grandma and grandpa Meyer who are nice enough to watch them for us. so a week long vacation in a swim suit means it time to work out.

Rob had today off work and he and a coworker went fishing, luckily his friend had all the big equipment, because those poles cost a good $400. he caught this fish it was 38inches.

Two weeks ago Rob got into a car accident luckily no one was hurt but his toyota tacoma was totalled, he was so sad. and it was the other persons fault so their insurance will be replacing his old truck. this is the one we found and we love it, it seats 6 thats more than my car! He loves it

Jordans birthday was so much fun, she had a great day and felt so special. she got a lot of dress up outfits which was perfect because she loves to dress up.

she got a doctor dress up kit from rob and me and that night we had to play doctor for a long time before we could go to bed. so cute to see her playing with Jemma

She was helping me make the cupcakes. don't worry I didn't let her lick the spoon until we were all done cooking.

this is the cake that rob and I made for her we used Gum paste for the very first time and it was very hard and frustrating but I think she liked it so it was wort the stress. I cant believe we have a three year old, wow that happened fast.

This was the first day I really got my hands into the serious world of using coupons, rebates and in store credit. this was awesome one day when robs sister Sandy was in town and she walked me though how to find great deals, this day i got all of this for only 30.00 which with all the razors i could have spent 30 easily on just those alone, but no i got so much more.
this was all done at target and rite aid

this was my second time and i was all by myself I got all this at Walgreen's for $6.50 with the shampoos and conditioners they were buy one and get one free plus they had rebates on two of them so i got three things of shampoo and conditioner for free and they were suppose to cost 7.00 each. that is more than i spent for all of this. crazy fun. i am a shopaholic but in a good way.

I got all this today for $22.00, everything was on clearance or half off and I had coupons for everything, some were doubling, it was awesome. I shouldn't have to buy shampoo and conditioner for a long time, I am excited to try the air wick and glade i motion, plus I have wanted to try this 3-1 detergent for awhile but never wanting to pay full price for them I took advantage of the savings today. I got this eye care solution for robs contacts they had a $7.99 rebate and I had a coupon for $1 off so I ended up making $1 for buying their product. When I added it all up with there original prices it was about $117.00, so I think I did pretty well.

So with all the rebates I am expecting back plus gift cards I will have $48.00 rob told me to add $2 and make it an even 50, I plan on anly buying stuff on clearance or on sale with rebates, and see if i can even make some money at the same time. my plan is to see how far I can get on the 50 and how much I can buy before it is all gone, I am going to do my own little project and hopefully share the pictures with you and how I did it, lets see how far my 50 will go. if anyone has any ideas or suggestions than please share.

we took the girls to the childrens museum this weekend and they had so much fun. here is a picture of Jordan dressed up like a unicorn on the stage but it is hard to tell what she is.

It was pretty fun except they make you pay for the children and the adults Jemma was young enough that we didnt have to pay for her but it is weird that we had to pay for ourselves, when all we did was sit there. it is hard to find things for the girls to do when it is cold and windy outside, Jordan could have been there all day.

I love this picture of Jemma attacking her sister, they love each other and it is so much fun watching them grow up together and be so great for each other. I was in the kitchen and then I heard Jordan calling for help I went to see what was wrong and I saw jemma hanging on her with the biggest smile and they were both laughing, so of course I had to grab the camera poor Jordan had to wait even longer before I would save her, but it was so cute.

Easter was so much fun, we were able to visit with both sides of our families and the girls got to hang out with all their grandparents we are so lucky to be living here. we had a lot of fun dying eggs and watching Jordan search for them. I think her dress looks like an easter egg.

Penicillin

This week I found out Jordan was allergic to penicillin. poor girl. first this week she was throwing up for three days and nights so i just thought it would pass but by the fourth day I took her into the doctor, he also found that she had ear infections in both ears so he prescribed her amoxicillin which was fine she has had amoxicillin atleast five times before so I didnt think anything of it until the next morning she woke up burning up and with this reaction. I took her in and right away he said oh yah she is allergic. poor girl. that was yesterday and today it is still lingering but a whole lot better. It is sad when you child knows what medicine they are getting. when she was reacting so bad I grabbed a chewable benadryl out of my purse and she said benadyl. plus when the cashier at walgreens recognizes you because you have been there four times in two days is not a good sign. The pictures actually dont do it justice. I just hope Jemma dosent get the stomach flu. Rob is barely holding on, thank goodness he didnt have to work today!

Jemma is here, thanks to everyone for all the prayers, I had a c-section tuesday morning and she came and was perfect. she was 7'15 ounces and 20 inches long, I will post pictures soon. I already posted some on facebook.

only one week left I cant believe how fast this pregnancy has gone, in the beginning it was really slow and now I have so much to do I don't know when I will get everything done. But i think it is keeping me busy so I don't just sit around thinking of how labor will be, my mom comes on Friday so I am hopping Jemma wont come until after that just so things will all be ready. I went to the doctor on Sat. and everything looks good but no progress so I have another apt. Friday and he said we will see how things are going and talk about some options. I have already had two nights that I thought she was coming but no baby in the morning, I think I just forgot about some of the early signs so I guess it is normal. I will let everyone know as soon as she gets here. I am excited and scared at the same time. If anyone has any advice about having two children will you please let me know the secret. or at least some pointers. thanks, Sorry this post is all over but I just started typing before thinking of what to write.

With Robs new job he is working a crazy amount of hours and I can tell it is taking a toll on him, poor guy he only gets to see Jordan for about 15 minutes at night if even that. Last night he had to say good night to her over the phone because he didn't get home until 10:00pm he has worked 13, 14 hour days this whole week and construction is not an easy job. It is also hard on me because by 5:30 I am ready to take a break but I can't do that until he is here, We are glad he has a job and hopefully these hours will only be like this for one more week. I couldn't imagine this when the baby is here. we would all go crazy.

Jordan went to the bathroom in the big girl potty for the first time, It was awesome she was acting like she had to go so we both ran to the bathroom and she did it was exciting. she got a cookie and now she sits on the toilet for a minute and asks for a cookie. I think I ruined it, I was just too happy. she hasn't done it since then and I am not pushing it, I don't want to start right before we have Jemma it might throw off everything. But she sure loved her cookie.

Jordan makes new friends so easily, these were her new friends that she made at My friend Amber's Graduation BBQ. Here she is with Bob Crandall, I don't know what she was looking at.,

She loves babies, I didn't really know this baby or their mother but they said it was okay that Jordan give her a hug, good thing because I don't know if I could have stopped her. All she wanted to do was love this little baby and pick her up but I didn't let her pick her up. that might have been trouble.

our kitchen, with hardly any counter space so we put some stuff together and now I have room to cook. we found this portable dishwasher for $50.00 it made me so happy.

Jordan loves to be outside and this way she can play either in the front or backyard I love having this much room for her to explore.
This swing was broken when we moved in but Rob fixed it and she loves it. It is so hard for me to get her to come inside.

Here are some pictures of our new place. we moved just down the street from our last apartment but we are in a whole new ward and stake. it is actually our old ward so that is fun because we know a lot of people in this ward already. we are in the basement of a house so that is why you don't see many large windows. It just takes a little getting used to but we like it and have made it our own, well for five months at least. until we have to move again. that's why in the garage there is just boxes staked so high, so we don't have to repack in Dec. we are leaving a lot of stuff in their boxes.

this is the garage rob loves having a garage he now has room for all his tools and can actually use them out there, he has already been working on a toy box for Jordan he got to use his new table saw. it is inside now and he is stenciling on flowers it is so cute I will send me pictures when it is finished.

We are so close to the church, We just walk right over and we are never late. at least not yet. this will be awesome when I have Jemma also because If she needs a new outfit I can just run home and get her all cleaned up. I love this location. Plus in the Winter we will not need to scrap our cars to drive to church.

This is the back deck it is so nice and Rob already Trimmed all the overgrown bushes it is really nice to go eat dinner in the backyard. We are taking advantage of everything at this new place.

Moved in and New Job

We are all moved in we got all of our boxes over here on Satuday of last week and the last box was unpacked the next day. good work Rob. It is nice to be settled before the baby comes but sad to think that we have to do it all over again in just five months. oh well. I will send pictures soon. Also Rob was laid off on Friday but not to worry he got another Job and went to work on Monday. We are so blessed. The Lord is constantly helping us. It is a great Job too it is here in Rexburg so instead of driving to Idaho Falls everyday he just drives five minutes up to campus. He is working for a company that is working on the new campus building. he worked 13 hours today and it sounds like that is how it will be for a good month, 13 hours days if not more and even on Saturdays, he will surly be tired, But he is such a hard worker and he is just happy to get such a great Job.

Shamaine my good friend from high school and her husband Dave had a family reunion this last weekend in Idaho Falls so they came to rexburg

to visit and we had a nice time together we got to see their new little one and Jordan loved him so much, she couldn't stop kissing and hugging him. she was so sad when they left she cried for a good ten minutes. maybe this could be a good sign when in a few months there will be a baby that will not be going home. she was really helpful also, every time he had spit up on his chin she would wipe it off with a burp cloth. she loved doing it and after awhile we had to tell her that was enough, she was so cute and so in love. Kristina and Jordan were best friends. I think Jordan wore her out but Krissy had a lot more energy than me so it was great. I think Krissy should live with us for a few months.

This is us at cabellas in Utah. Jordan loved all the animals. in the glass behind them it was hard to tell but it was an aquarium full of Trout, Salmon, Cat fish, etc. it was amazing I wish I got a better picture.

This was a fun but long trip especially for the little girls. this was the last day and the little ones were done.

The water park is so much fun. it is at the park right across the street and when it is warm enough we are there. it is great we go over at about 11:00 have lunch at the park play on the toys, play in the water and go home and take a three hour nap it is great.

Jordan got some new Lego's this last week and she loves them. she is good at putting them together we were impressed with what she could make, and it helps when the weather is bad and we need something to do inside. Rob and I have been looking for this type of Lego's everywhere but they are expensive so finally I found some at the DI, not a lot but a good enough amount for her to play with.

Here is Jordan in her new dress that her Grandma Wight made when they came for a visit in March. it is a cute summer dress and I like the bright color. I wish I took a better picture but she is getting obsessed with the camera and only wants to look at the pictures we take so all the ones at a better angle she was crying because I wouldn't let her have the camera. I also made her a new bow to match.

This morning Jordan woke up at 6:30 a little earlier than usual, she normally wakes up at around 8:00 so I knew she would want an earlier nap. We were on the couch having a snack when I looked over and she was a sleep, I don't remember the last time she fell asleep while on the couch, or while eating, don't worry I made sure she didn't have anything in her mouth before I put her down. I just couldn't believe how ready for bed she was.

Here is our Baby girl, this is her face if you can't tell. The doctor said she is about 10-12 inches long and about 14oz. they said everything looks good and the due date looks correct September 8th give or take a day. we are happy to have this sweet spirit come into our lives. and I am happy to share it with you all.

Turns out that the doctor was wrong when at only 12 weeks he told us it was a boy, never believe them until the baby is far enough along I had my doubts, but Rob was for sure. we went to the doctor on Friday and the Ultrasound Technician didn't even know that we thought it was a boy and as she was checking everything to make sure our baby was developing well she said well this definitely isn't a boy. we both looked at each other and smiled. so it looks like we will be having another beautiful daughter come to us in September. we are excited I know Rob was excited for a boy but he is truly happy it is a girl. plus we will be able to save some money considering we have already done the baby girl thing once before. I am happy too because they will only be two years apart and I think sisters two years apart would be fun. they might not like each other throughout the teen years but when they are older I think they will love each other very much. am I right my sisters.

Felt the little one

This week was very exciting I felt the baby for the first time this week and last night rob was able to feel him kick and move around, ever since then I have been feeling him all day. That makes it that much more real to me, we will be finding out the sex on the 24Th so as soon as I know I will let everyone else know. rob is still for sure it is a boy but i have my doubts. money wise we both want a girl but we will be blessed with what ever we have. I think Jordan is starting to understand a little. we ask her where the baby is and she points at my stomach that makes it special.

Easter was a little different in the Meyer home, we thought instead of having and easter egg hunt for Jordan on Sunday we could ask the easter bunny to come back Monday night and we could have it be our family home evening activity and so that we could go to the day after sales, it worked out great everything was atleast 50% off and we will have it for next year.

Jordan had a great time and it seemed like she knew just what to do. her and rob were in the other room and then she came in and saw a basket and scattered eggs, we told her that the easter bunny hid the eggs and she had to find them and put them in her basket, she was running from one egg to another, it was cute becuase she would be heading for an egg and then she would see another one and go for that one instead, Rob and I had a great time watching her. once she found out that there was candy inside it made everything that much better.

Here we are making breakfast Jordan loves to help around the kitchen and normally she gets into things I dont want her to get into so I make ways for her to help and she loves it.

Here is Jordan and Rob, she might be small but she can be taught, she just loved this Rob took her around the whole park and she didn't want to stop.

We took this picture and I loved it she is so happy, Jordan is not scared of anything at the park she will go down all the big slides by herself and not even care if we are around a little scary but I want her to learn how to do things on her own. we just wanted to take this picture because I thought it was cute. plus it looks like rob was having a good time also.

Here are some projects that rob and I worked on during Conference weekend I made this bow holder for all of Jordans bows. I thought that these four long ribbons would be enough but they filled up quite nicely, then we also made this felt board and laminated a bunch of pictures for our family home evenings. Jordan loves it and it is a good Sunday activity when we cant go play outside on the toys like everyone else.

Rob went to walmart one day last week by himself and came home with toys for Jordan and he also found this tent, it is purple and pink and it came with a matching sleeping bag and flashlight and compus with a backpack to carry everything, Jordan loved it and rob even fit into it. not comfortably but she pulled him in. she was mad when we had to put it away, this is not a good sign, rob has big plans on camping this summer even though I will be large and uncomfortable. we shall see how it goes.

Hey everyone recently I had a table at a flee market up on campus. I did it two weeks ago also. and I will be getting a table for two more at the end of the month. I have been working on some sewing crafts and set up another blog for people to check through bulletin board on the BYUI website. I had to try so many names for this new blog before one finally was approved, the name is a little silly but thats okay. We made the trip to San Luis Obispo to see Grandpa Wight, it was great to see him and for him to meet Jordan, it was a long trip but thank you once again Michiko for letting us go. it was hard on the girls and the car ride home was crazy but I am glad we went. we were also able to see a lot of fmaily, my aunt and uncle abbott, my uncle Michael, and three of my cousins there. it was fun and I cant wait to see everyone again in June.

After Jordan and I got back from California my Grandpa and Grandma we kind enough to let us stay at their house for a few days and we were also able to see more family. these are cousind from my moms side there was someone there representing every family on the Milne side, it was so fun to see my cousins and their children.

Michiko, Coestte, Jordan and I all got to go to Noah's Ark at the Getti in Los Angeles. It was amazing there were all these animals that the children could touch and play with. they were all made out of different materials. Jordan had a great time and she loved not being in a stroller. I just followed her, it was a good workout because she is getting faster.

This Turtle was cool I think the orange parts were old basketballs. very creative and a great seat.

It was a long day and about 7:00pm Jordan was ready for bed. so cute.
